Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede is an imaginative look at the Civil War complete with southern cuisine, song and dance, equestrian arts and above all, competition! Throughout the performance the audience will cheer on their respective sides (the North or the South) as the two battle each other in a number of racing competitions that range from chuck wagon to ostrich. Throughout the competitions there are also a number of song and dance numbers, as well as comedic interludes to keep things lively.
