Brookgreen Gardens- This sculpture garden is a true wonder. Over 900 sculptures can be viewed at the Brookgreen Gardens. The sculptures range in age to over 400 years old to more modern art. Shaped like huge butterfly wings, exploring this large garden just might take all day!
Hampton Plantation State Park- This home was built in the early 1700s and served as a refuge for affluent South Carolinian families during the Revolutionary War. It is now open for tours and a two and a half mile hiking trail affords guests great view of the grounds.
Huntington Beach State Park- Three miles of pristine beaches are just one of the exciting attractions in the Huntington Beach State Park. The park is also recognized as one of the best bird watching venues in the state. Also be sure to visit the Atalya Castle and the Education Center.
Myrtle Beach State Park- Beachfront camping and cabins are offered at the Myrtle Beach State Park. This 312 acre park is full of fun and exciting things to do. Visit the Nature Center and learn about the natural wildlife and plant life in the area. Also enjoy the pier, barbecue grills, and playground.
