Celebrating the rock and roll music of the 50s and 60s, and remembering artists like Buddy Holly and Richie Valens, the American Pie Oldies Music Fest is held in June at the La Belle Amie vineyard. Music that was a big hit three or four decades ago is still popular today. There are music genres that will suit everyone's fancy.
If you are interested in some family fun, go on out to the
La Belle Amie Vineyard for the American Pie Oldies Music Fest. There will be good outdoor cooking provided by the Smokin' Pitt BBQ and Hunt's Lexington Style Cookin'.
Besides great food, wine and music, there are other activities. Last year the Southern Belle Trick Riders put on a great horse show. Be sure to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on and enjoy the festival.
There is always something happening at La Belle Amie, whether there is a music festival or not. The La Belle Amie is open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to take a tour of the vineyard and gift shop. There is plenty in the gift shop to catch your eye. There are bottles of wine, and everything you will need-such as wine glasses and cork screws-to enjoy a glass of wine yourself, or to give as a gift.
There is a nominal fee that covers parking, limited wine tasting, entry to the gift shop and the music. For more information on what's happening at the American Pie Oldies Music Fest, contact La Belle Amie, the email address is: info@labelleamie.com.
