Annual Mr. Myrtle Beach Man Pageant

There are a variety of entertaining competitions held in Myrtle Beach each year, and one such event is the Mr. Myrtle Beach Man Pageant. The proceeds from the event go to a non-profit organization called “Katie’s Project,” and those attending the competition can vote for their favorite candidate by voting with a five dollar donation. The event typically takes place during the month of September at the Myrtle Beach Market Common.

The main event at the competition is a talent show in which competitors showcase their most impressive talents such as singing and dancing. There is also a fashion show at the pageant.

Katie’s Project is a non-profit organization that helps underprivileged young ladies who would normally not be able to afford a prom dress or formal attire acquire nice clothing for formal events to avoid the embarrassment and stress of not being able to afford appropriate clothing. They accept donations of both money and formal dresses.
