The Atalaya Art and crafts Festival is an annual event showcasing the creations of over a hundred local and national artists and artisans. The Festival is scheduled to be held at the beautiful
Huntington Beach State Park in
Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, from the 26th to the 28th of September, 2008. Event timings are รข?" noon to 6 p.m. on Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The full festival pass would cost you $10 per adult while a single day pass comes for $6 per adults. Children under 15 years of age are admitted free of charge.
The site of Atalaya, a National Historical Landmark, holds the castle which was home to the world famous sculptor Anna Hyatt Huntington. The castle features a collection of one-of-a-kind arts and crafts. Apart from the beautiful setting of natural beauty, the Festival offers a wide variety of arts and crafts that you can enjoy. More than a 1000 artists and artisans showcase an eclectic display of hand blown glass, baskets, woodworking, paintings, needlework, jewelry and much more.
