The Dog Days of August Blues and Jazz Fest is held every year just outside of North Myrtle Beach on the corner of Highway 90 and St. Joseph Road on the lawn of La Belle Amie. There is a nominal admission fee that includes parking, music and your tour of the vineyard. The
La Belle Amie Vineyard is located in the Grand Stand Area; its open to the public and attracts visitors from all over to the Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach areas.
When you come for the Dog Days of August Blues and Jazz Fest, stop into the gift shop and tour the grounds. The La Belle Amie Gift Shop has many items such as sauces, relishes, salsas, flavored cooking oils, as well as wine, wine glasses, wine racks, coasters and much more. There is a duck pond and an old tobacco barn. There are plenty of places to enjoy a picnic. The La Belle Amie is part of an old tobacco plantation belonging to the Bellamy family since the 19th century.
Visitors to the Dog Days of August Blues and Jazz Fest should bring lawn chairs, or blankets to sit on the ground. The La Belle Amie is a laid back friendly place. Whether you are coming for the festival or not, be sure to make a day of it. Visitors are asked not to bring coolers to the event, there is outdoor barbeque cooking; there will be plenty to eat and drink.
