A handicap formula is used to make a level playing field for all, making the tournament competitive for all. Past winners have had handicaps as low as 3 and as high as 34. There's six different divisions, broken down into Men 49 and under, Senior Men 50 to 59, Mid-Senior Men 60 to 69, Seniors over 70, Women under 49, and Senior Women 49 and up.
