The Irish Italian International Festival takes place on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach the last Saturday in September. This event kick-starts the autumn season's Endless Summer Celebration that consists of 5 events. There is something for everyone; there's activities for children, great food, music, arts and crafts, wine tasting, and much more. As well as local recording artists, there will also be national and regional talent performing the Gary Brown, Buckingham and Greg Rowles Stages and others. Sound amplification for the Irish Italian International Festival is provided by Bose.
The festival celebrates the culture of the Irish Italian community, uniting all the different people of different backgrounds. The food will be catered by such restaurants as Papa John's Pizza, Chris' Pizza and Pub, Damon's, Cold Stone Creamery, Molly Darcy's, Benito's Brick Oven, Pat and Mike's, and others. Admission to the festival is free. To purchase food you can purchase food coupons at $1 each. If you would rather eat away from the festival, there are many restaurants-Subway, Burger King, Hardee's, and the Bonefish Grill are within walking distance at 0.3 miles from the festival.
There are many things to do in Myrtle Beach; the 750,000 gallon
Ripley's Aquarium is filled with many kinds of sharks, rays and other fish. If you are interested in knights in shining armor, the
Medieval Times Dinner and Theater is a favorite dinner time attraction.
