Myrtle Beach in South Carolina is a major spring break destination for young adults.  For a couple of months during the spring season, this beautiful resort city becomes a thriving destination for college students looking for an enjoyable vacation.  Myrtle Beach is consistently ranked in the top ten for spring break destinations in the country.  However, families looking for a quiet and enjoyable family vacation during spring may want to avoid Myrtle Beach, South Carolina until the crowds of rowdy college students dissipate. 
Myrtle Beach offers brilliant sunshine and over sixty miles of pristine beaches.  A major appeal of the city is that it is a major tourist destination all year around.  The city is filled with many entertaining venues and enjoyable daytime activities, as well as nightly entertainment.
